The tour will take you through how the business began in 1949 with the founding of the cooperative, and you will be immersed in the atmosphere of the winemaking process of one of Sardinia’s oldest native varieties, the Carignano.
Having survived the phylloxera attack in Sant’Antioco at the end of the 19th century thanks to the particular characteristics of the island’s territory, the centuries-old vines here are still cultivated using the Latin tree system with a free foot.
I will also tell you how the winery’s famous sparkling wine, AD 49, is produced according to the classic method.
It would not be a wine tour without tasting. At the end of the tour, we will sip a few glasses of a selection of the best bottles that are the result of Sardus Pater’s work and passion: Arruga superiore, Is Arenas riserva, Kanai… and many others are the wines in the cellar’s wine store, and we will discover their identity and the strong flavours typical of Carignano.
The tour lasts approximately 1 hour and 30 minutes.
The difficulty of the tour is low, barrier-free and suitable for all visitors.
However, comfortable clothing and shoes are recommended.
Groups are limited to a maximum of 15 people to ensure the quality of the experience and the safety of all participants.
The tour takes place in the spacious rooms of the winery, between indoor and outdoor.

Reservations can be made up to 6 p.m. on the day before the tour.
Maximum punctuality is required in respect of all participants.

Cancellation terms provide a full refund for any tour if this takes place at least 5 days before the scheduled start or within 24 hours of purchase. If cancellation occurs within 3 days prior to the event you are entitled to a 50% refund, otherwise there is no refund.
